  • Overview

    StoneMor Partners is conducting a search for an Accounting Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team in Trevose, PA.

     

    This position will assist the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in the internal reporting and financial analysis of the company’s operational and financial results. In addition, the Accounting Analyst will assist in supporting the budget as well as forecasting process.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute routine analytical reviews of the company’s financial and operational performance.
    • Analyze the accuracy of financial results to prior periods and the budget and effectiveness of operations.
    • Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
    • Routinely communicate business unit and divisional/regional consolidated operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics and propose key actions and strategic implications.
    • Ensure that SOX controls and procedures are appropriately followed for assigned areas.
    • Perform other accounting and reporting related projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
    • 2-3 years of accounting experience (exposure to a publicly traded company is a plus)
    • Public Accounting or SEC registrant Experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • Must be a self-starter and forward-looking
    • Ability to work independently and proactively to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
    • Prioritize and complete tasks with competing deadlines
    • Professional written and verbal communication with multiple levels and departments
