    Senior Compliance Analyst

     

    StoneMor Partners is conducting a search for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our corporate Trust Team in Trevose, PA.

     

    This position is responsible for developing models and strategies to improve oversight and analysis of trust activities, as well as maintenance of trust activities including legal/regulatory compliance, preparation of reports, and facilitation of both internal and external audits.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop models aimed at streamlining processes and procedures for analyzing large extracts of data from multiple sources
    • Analyze historical data and translate for audits and annual reporting in compliance with state guidelines
    • Research and interpret state statutes as applicable to trust filings and processing trust transactions
    • Prepare monthly reports identifying any deviations from required trusting laws and regulations
    • Review and analyze current system generated reports and assist with developing improved internal controls and reporting 
    • Pro-actively communicate with manager including: exceptions or errors found, potential efficiency improvements, or other issues as they arise 
    • Coordinate with various departments to respond to state examinations including preparing work-papers, documenting procedures, and providing support throughout the audit
    • Collaborate with various trust audiences including customers, field administration, trustees, and auditors
    • Special ad-hoc projects and various duties as needed 

    Qualifications

    Skills

    • Exercises discretion and independent thinking in all primary responsibilities
    • Ability to think strategically and resolve legal/regulatory compliance issues
    • Ability read bank statements and understand financial activity
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to firm deadlines
    • Communicates in a clear and concise manner
    • Intermediate (or better) Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to create and organize filing systems to track procedures and tasks
    • Demonstrated customer service skills
    • Ability to effectively complete tasks and assignments and meet deadlines.
    • Must be well organized.
    • Must abide by all company policies.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • BS Degree in Business, Finance or other related field.
    • 4-6 years' Trust Compliance experience.
